Phoenix Branch Events
Demonstrations: Our demonstration team last performed at the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival on July 20, 2019 at Fort Tuthill in Flagstaff, AZ. We do not currently have any other demonstrations on the horizon.
Annual Burns Night Supper: It is traditional to celebrate the birthday of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns, born January 25, 1759. We will hold our annual celebration on Saturday, January 25 2020 at Fibber Magee's Pub (1989 West Elliot Road, Chandler AZ 85224). At a Burns Night Supper, we gather and be social, with perhaps a poem or two, and also enjoy the pub's fish & chips or shepard's pie (all food & drink can be purchased individually at the pub). They asked us not to bring our bagpipes, but poetry and toasts are encouraged! There might also be a little bit of dancing... you never know!
Phoenix Highland Games: We perform each year at the Highland Games, but we are taking a break in 2019. Perhaps you can check us out in March 2020 and join us for some audience participation! The games are held at Steele Indian School Park (directions below). For more information, check out the official games website.
